Nick Bilogorskiy

Nick Bilogorskiy leads cybersecurity strategy at Juniper Networks. As a founding member at Cyphort, which was recently acquired by Juniper Networks, Nick created and led the Cyphort Labs Threat Research team. He also played a critical role designing Cyphorts malware detection logic and product user experience. Prior to Cyphort, Nick was chief malware expert at Facebook and also held security research leadership positions at Fortinet and Sonicwall. Nick is fluent in reverse engineering, analysis, pattern writing and malware tracking. He has presented and published research papers at major security conferences including Virus Bulletin, ISACA and SecureWorld. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and philosophy from Simon Fraser University and a GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification, as well as multiple patents in computer security.

Bruce Wirt is a passionate speaker that is able to connect with audiences of varying demographics by way of energy and enthusiasm, carrying over 16 years of telecommunications experience, holding various management and Senior Level positions across the industry. Bruce’s expertise is in building and growing sales distribution channels, maximizing productivity minimal overhead. During his tenure at NetCarrier, Wirt has achieved exponential sales growth, seeing annual revenues nearly triple during the seven year period. Notable accomplishments during that span include retaining more than 85% of the acquired customer base following the acquisition of SniP Communications’ assets in 2010, the successful creation and launch of NetCarrier’s unique VAR program, and most recently leading the expansion of NetCarrier from a regional CLEC into a national solutions provider.Wirt’s channel sales philosophy is consistent and unwavering. He has been outspoken about active engagement in the channel, carriers and master agents abandoning smaller partners over failed revenue commitments, and the need for the master agent community to focus on partner education to prevent further commoditization of the telecommunications industry. In 2010, Wirt parlayed his sales and public speaking skills into a successful radio and emcee career. After 3 years in the Philadelphia radio market as an on air talent, he started his own network of live programming and podcasts utilizing digital media technology. In 2012 Wirt started the VOC Nation Radio Network, providing live, daily, original programming in the genres of sports, entertainment, politics, and professional wrestling. The VOC Nation Radio Network is in the top 1% of the most listened to online radio networks in the world, as ranked by Podomatic.

A seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in the computing, networking, and business communications industries, Todd Abbott is a customer-focused leader with a keen ability to develop go-to-market strategies, sales models, and channel programs and to drive an execution-focused culture. In his role as Mitel’s Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Services, Todd oversees Mitel’s global sales operations, including cloud and enterprise sales, professional and support services, and channel programs. Prior to joining Mitel, Todd was Chief Revenue Officer at Spireon, a private company focused on the vehicle telematics market. Todd has also held senior executive positions at several business communications companies, including leading the sales and marketing programs at Symbol Technologies, Seagate Technology, Avaya, and Sonus Networks. He also has significant start-up experience, as CEO of Tely Labs, focused on the cloud-based video conference market. Earlier in his career, Todd spent eight years at Cisco Systems where he assumed a series of progressively more senior positions around the world, including sales management responsibilities in New York, Sales Vice President in Singapore, and Group Vice President in Paris, and leading the service provider business in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Todd began his career in 1982 at IBM Corporation. Todd has a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance and Marketing from Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts).

Mr. Maloff is a globally recognized expert and author on Internet, its uses for business purposes, and the convergence with traditional telephony. He currently serves as Senior Vice President – Strategic Alliances and Partnerships for Phone.com (www.phone.com), and has responsibility for the Channel Partner Program, Inside Sales organization, large scale business development, and assistance with network-related strategies and tactics. In addition, Mr. Maloff has been an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Technical University for more than four years, and has taught introductory classes, information technology (such as Disaster Recovery and Network Design and Implementation), Introduction to Marketing, and created a course on Digital Marketing. With forty years of experience, he has served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for one of the first SIP trunking service providers, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for an international VoIP carrier, the CTO of a network security authentication device manufacturer, General Manager of a broadband wireless Internet provider, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for an Internet professional services company, and as Executive Director of the Big Ten universities research network (CICNet). Mr. Maloff has written several books, spoken at industry conferences worldwide, written numerous articles, and was a regular columnist for VON Magazine (now defunct). As a consultant, he provided services to the most senior people at Nationwide Insurance, MetLife, Borders Books and Music, Discovery Channel, The Toro Company, Worldcom, Sprint, Frontier Telecom, Siemens, Telenor (Norway), France Telecom, and many others.Among his more notable accomplishments, Mr. Maloff acted as a consultant to then Senator Al Gore in the drafting of the High Performance Computing Act which went on to become the basis of the commercial Internet as we know it today. He was further involved in the commercialization of the Internet as part of Advanced Network & Services which managed the backbone for the National Science Foundation Network (NSFNet) in the late 1980’s/early 1990s.

Layne Levine is president of Windstream’s Enterprise business unit. He is responsible for overseeing sales, financial performance, marketing, field technicians, service delivery and customer care and repair for the enterprise segment.Levine has worked in the telecom industry for more than 25 years, most recently as chief revenue officer at GTT, which provides cloud networking services to multinational customers. In that role, Levine led the company’s revenue growth initiatives worldwide, targeting global carriers and multinational enterprises and developing its emerging channel strategy. Previously he was the executive vice president for GTT’s Americas division, managing the sales efforts for North and South America.Prior to joining GTT, Levine was senior vice president of sales at Alpheus Communications. Before that he was senior vice president of retail sales for Deltacom/EarthLink. Levine also has held leadership positions at Airband Communications, Level 3 Communications and Broadwing Communications.Levine has a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University.
